Asby History Group was formed in 2005 as a forum for people interested in this ancient Parish. With a programme of talks throughout the winter months and walks in the summer months. There are now 25 members.
Most individuals in the group have research projects and would love to hear from anybody with information about their subjects.
In 2008 the group were lucky enough to secure funding for a 2 year project: Our Green Space. This exciting project is based around the 6 village greens in Asby and will help the village to understand the history and management of the greens.
